Glen Poole (left) and Myles Nelson would make great bodyguards for Gigi Gauthier, Events Director

The winners this year were Glen "win at all costs" Poole and Myles "the sauce" Nelson. They were the 2016 winners and were ready to take on the 2015 winners Shane " I feel no pain" Storie and Chris "Chili Bean" Voogt. But Shane and Chris were a no show and rumor was that they were scared to be beat by a couple of veterans. Shane was later found hiding in a deserted ice shack on Bird River with a can of Stagg chili and a six pack of empty diet cokes.
This year’s event was again a huge success: a sellout. Anna from Trappers donated a selection of amazing cup cakes. Thank you!
The 50/50 raffle take was $263 and was won by Bob Lebrault.
The chili cook off was the first event for our new Events Director, Gigi Gauthier. It was a “hot” success! A big thank you to Cindy Emberton, who helped out a ton! Thanks Cindy!
