A group of volunteers from the club recently headed out to Alf's Hut where they cut and stacked firewood for the upcoming sledding season.
And here everyone thought that fire wood mysteriously appear at the huts. Nope. It's the result of man hours and hard work.
Over the next coming of weeks you’re going to see volunteers out doing a number of tasks before we officially open the trails: marking trail stick lines, clearing deadfall from the trails, upgrading warm-up huts and breaking trails. All of this can’t be done without volunteers. Please watch your email when the club puts out a call for volunteers. We’ll all benefit from everyone’s assistance and cooperation.
